Story

Joseph and His Family Reunited, The Beginner’s Bible, pages 86-91
Related Center
  have 7” circles made from brown felt for each child. Punch holes around the edges. Let the children “sew” yarn through holes to make a drawstring bag. As you tell the story, have the children put popcorn kernels in each bag.

Craft/Activity
  Joseph’s story booklets. 
  • Make booklets from 2 half sheets of construction paper. Print “Joseph’s Story” on front. 
  • Page 1 - color and glue in Joseph’s coat
  • Page 2 - glue in a knotted rope (Joseph as a slave)
  • Page 3 - color and glue in crown (Joseph in Pharaoh’s house)
  • Page 4 - color and add rice to grain basket and glue in the basket
  • Page 5 - trace children’s hand over preprinted words “Joseph Forgives”. (See sample handouts at bottom of this page.)

Snack 
  Popcorn
