SPRING BREAK MISSION TRIP - TOUCH GLOBAL, NEW ORLEANS, LA.

For the past few years the Student Ministry has been blessed with the opportunity to partner alongside with EFCA Touch Global Response in New Orleans to serve the victims of Hurricane Katrina by helping them clean, repair and rebuild their homes and communities.  We are heading back there in March 2012 to continue the work. Praise God!! 

The mission trip is schedule for the week of Spring Break, March 11 to March 17, 2012.  Our team will consist of students ranging from 8th grade up to 12th grade. The cost per team member is $375.00.  The cost includes room & board, meals (excluding meals Sunday, March 11th  and Saturday, March 17th),  and transportation.

The registration deadline is January 22, 2012.  A deposit of $25.00 will be due January 22, 2012 and the second payment of $150.00 is due February 19, 2012 and the remaining payment due on March 07, 2012.

God has touched the hearts of the young people at Northwest Community Church to be his hands and feet, to love others “with actions and truth.” As the Scripture says in I John 3:17-18 -- “If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.”
